Community Workshops

I have a passion for bringing tapping to as many individuals as possible.  The benefits of this technique have been experienced on a personal level, within the therapy setting with clients, and reported from those who have committed an hour and a half of their time to attend this workshop.

Tapping is Empowerment.

​

Once learned, this technique can be used as a stress management tool to help regulate the nervous system.  

 

Because I believe in the power of this technique so much, on a monthly basis, I offer a workshop that is open to the wider community on Managing Stress and Anxiety and Enhancing Self Care.  

​

The focus of this workshop is on the impacts of stress and the stress response system and then an overview of the amygdala.  This context leads into an overview of Emotional Freedom Techniques, or tapping, what it is, how it impacts the brain, and the science that validates it efficacy.  From here, participants are invited into two experiential exercises to get a sense for the technique and as reinforcement to feel empowered to use it for personal use following the workshop time.
